As a reaction to the overtly ornate style of the Baroque period, and influenced by Roman architecture seen during the ‘Grand Tour’, aristocratic Georgians developed a taste for what became known as Neo-Classical designs where elegance and symmetry became emblematic.

Elegantly crafted to exacting standards, the Kensington insert includes a variety of both period precise reproductions and history inspired designer style.

These complete fireplaces feature a grate and built-in fireback and are designed to fit into a 36′ by 36′ (915mm x 915mm) opening. Suitable for solid fuels such as wood, coal and approved smokeless fuels.
